The momentous event took place at One Mall Valenzuela City and was attended by a gathering of 487 faithful congregants.
Under the theme "All Out," the anniversary celebration encapsulated the spirit of unwavering dedication and commitment to faith. The congregation, along with visitors from neighboring communities, came together to reflect on the journey of the past year and to renew their vows to live a life fully dedicated to their beliefs. The highlight of the celebration was a thought-provoking and inspiring sermon delivered by Pastor Genesis Labing-isa. With eloquence and passion, Pastor Genesis spoke about the concept of "All Out in Faith," encouraging the congregation to embrace a life of wholehearted devotion to their spiritual beliefs and values. Drawing from biblical teachings and real-life examples, Pastor Genesis emphasized the importance of stepping beyond one's comfort zone and fully trusting in God's plan. "My faith journey has been put to the test. Life's ups and downs have continuously challenged my beliefs, leading to moments of uncertainty. Yet, even in those difficult times, I've found solace in God's unwavering presence and support. This voyage has guided me toward a deeper contemplation of my convictions. I've come to understand that faith is an individual expedition, unbound by any particular denomination. Through periods of reflection and meditation, my faith has transformed into a more personal connection with a higher power—one that brings me comfort and fortitude in the face of life's trials. The road has been intricate and filled with twists, but it has contributed significantly to shaping who I am today. I've recognized that faith is a diverse and unique experience for everyone, and it's crucial to follow one's own intuition. As life continues to unfold, I'm committed to pursuing this journey, excited about the fresh encounters that will deepen my spiritual understanding and also the church plays a pivotal role in my faith journey by reinforcing my understanding of God's nature. Through its teachings, my conviction in God as our savior becomes more solid and profound." shared Sis. Shey Chua, a dedicated member of the Church of God Valenzuela. As the Church of God Valenzuela marks its first anniversary, the message of going "All Out" in faith resonates not only within the walls of the church but also within the hearts of its members. The celebration served as a reminder that faith, fellowship, and dedication can create a powerful force for positive change and spiritual growth. With a strong foundation laid in its inaugural year, the Church of God Valenzuela looks forward to continued growth, service, and spiritual exploration in the years ahead. /Eleven.
